ID Manager automates the process of creating, archiving, recertifying, renaming, distributing and terminating Lotus Notes IDs.
Provides the ability for help desk personnel to submit requests for new users, terminations, password digest resets, Domino ID Vault password resets, etc. even though they may have only reader access to the public address book.
ID Manager 6.0 has been successfully tested with Notes Domino 6,7, 8 and 8.5. ID Manager 6.0 is compatible with the Lotus Notes certificate authority and the Domino ID Vault.

New User Registration
- User ID Creation Significantly reduces the time required to create and distribute Lotus Notes IDs
- Distribute the ID request / creation process while maintaining tight control of certifiers
- New user ID Requests can be submitted by anyone you grant access to. New user ID requests can be submitted through Notes or over the web. Help desk personnel can create requests to register new users even though they don't have access to perform the task themselves.
- Check for an existing Notes ID and mail file before a new user ID is created to eliminate duplicate Notes IDs
- Assign a random password or a password specified by the administrator

Reset Domino ID Vault Passwords
- Reset Domino ID Vault passwords using a request process. Help desk personnel create a request to reset a user's Domino ID Vault password even though they don't have access to perform this task themselves.
- Allow users to reset their own Domino ID Vault password without assistance.
- Domino ID Vault password resets are logged along with the IP address of the person that reset the password.
- Password strength, length, etc are enforced.
Clear Password Digests
- Clear password digest in a user's person document using a request process. Help desk personnel create a request to clear a user's password digest even though they don't have access to perform this task themselves.
- Each time a password digest is cleared it is logged by ID Manager.
Recertifications
- Recertify users before users start getting warning notices
- IDs stored in ID Manager remain current even after recertification
Name Changes
- IDs stored in ID Manager remain current even after name changes
- Short name and internet address are updated after name changes
Internet Passwords
- Find person documents with no internet password and optionally assign a password.
- Automatically force HTTP password changes periodically.
- Allow users to change their own HTTP passwords and enforce password length and quality.
Distributing Existing Notes IDs
- Easily forward user IDs if they forget their password or lose their ID
- An audit trail is maintained for all forwarded user IDs
User ID Termination
- Specify termination date and automatically perform termination on that date.
- Create Adminp documents to delete the user and delete the mail file and all replicas.
- Mark archived ID document as terminated
- Remove user from all groups
- Add user to specified deny access groups
- Delete mail file on specified date, after the user has been terminated.
- Provides the ability to un-terminate a user.
