Rename Group
- Deleted groups are archived and can be easily restored.
- When a Delete Group or Rename Group request is processed,
- GroupFlow creates an adminp request to complete the rename or delete task.
- All actions performed by GroupFlow are recorded in GroupFlow's log database, providing an audit trail.
- Specific groups can be marked as protected so GroupFlow will not modify them.
- Duplicate group names are not allowed when creating a new group or renaming an existing group.
- Specific characters can be disallowed in new group names to meet your company standards. For example, you may want to prevent spaces and some special characters from being used in group names.
- Group internet addresses can be automatically calculated and checked for uniqueness when a new group is created by GroupFlow.
Automatic Group Creation:
GroupFlow can create and maintain groups automatically using several methods. Groups can automatically be created based on a user's certifier, a standard Lotus Notes formula, a view in any Lotus Notes database or a user's mail server. GroupFlow will also update the groups automatically using a scheduled agent. Groups can be updated daily, weekly, monthly or on demand.
Group Utilities:
GroupFlow also includes the following utilities.
- Find All Members Of A Group: All direct and indirect (nested) members of a group will be reported.
- Find All Access Groups: Reports all groups that will grant access to a particular user. Direct and indirect groups are reported.
- Find Unlisted Group Members: Reports all group members that do not have a corresponding person, group or server document.
- Group Member Search & Replace: Performs a search and replace, add or delete operation on all groups in the specified address book.
